Melksham Independent News is a free fortnightly newspaper which offers a comprehensive news coverage of thearea, and is packed full of local news - news about Melksham, its schools, clubs, organisations and people.

This helps to make it by far the best read newspaper with a large and loyal readership.
12,500 copies are distributed every fortnight covering Melksham and all the surrounding villages - Atworth, Beanacre, Bowerhill, Broughton Gifford, Holt, Seend and Seend Cleeve, Semington, Shaw, Whitley.
It has the largest circulation of any newspaper in the
Melksham area, and is the only newspaper with a door-to-door delivery to all the surrounding villages.
Melksham Independent News is owned, produced and run by local people.It is published and printed by Wiltshire Publications Ltd, a family owned business, with an office in Melksham Market Place.
It carries more Melksham news than any other paper, attracts more Melksham advertising than any other
paper and attracts wide support in the local community In 1996, the newspaper received a Civic Award from Melksham Town Council for services to the community.
